THIS IS AN APPEAL TO ALL MEMBERS OF BAKG FOR ASSISTANCE

Llama/Alpaca exhibitors will not be allowed to sell yarn or roving after the 2010 festival.

Please help by clicking on the provided link and signing a petition to protest this decision by the NY Sheep & Wool Festival Committee.

Hello Raye,

The reason for my email today is to ask for help from the BAKG. Burgis Brook and other fellow exhibitors in the Llama/Alpaca Barn #27 at Rhinebeck were notified by the NYSW Festival Committee, that 2010 is the LAST year we will be able to sell our farm-grown yarn and roving from our beautiful animals at the festival! NYSW Festival is NOT allowing the farms in the Llama/Alpaca Barn #27 to sell their harvest in the future and they are not relocating us either! Besides all this, they have also invited other breeds of livestock to exhibit in our barn, which takes away from the existing Llama/Alpaca exhibitors. Can you help us by letting your members know and possibly signing our petition located on our website: burgisbrookalpacas.com Just click on the front page icon at the bottom. All details are on the website about the events taking place along with a link to the sheep and wool who's who page for those who wish to contact the "powers that be" directly. Thank you in advance, and please contact me with any questions you may have.

 Warm Regards,

 Alisa Mierzejewski
