Announcing the Summer of Buttons (and Buttonholes)! Are you unfazed by buttonholes? Or have you avoided knitting cardigans, because buttonholes scare you? Either way, we have something for you this summer!

Buttonhole KAL
To participate in this year’s Summer Knit Along (KAL), complete any knitting project that features one or more buttonholes. Bring your completed project to the September general meeting to receive a prize. A few sample free patterns from Ravelry: Playing Card Pouch, Little Coffee Bean Cardigan, Plush Braided Headband, Dazzling Diamonds Vest, Mug Cozy Trifecta. But feel free to knit any project you wish.
Button Shop Bingo
Nine button shops near the Garment District are listed on the bingo card. To play and receive a prize, send a completed card and a photo of yourself in front of the visited shops by 5 pm on September 18. If participating as a group, each person in the group must appear in each photo.
