The Annual Yarn Auction and Sale is one of the most exciting events on the BAKG calendar. This not-to-be-missed event is your chance to shop for luxury and novelty yarns, kits, tools, and bags of yarn at unbelievable prices. Whether you are looking for a single, very special skein or enough yarn to last you well into 2024, you will find it here! Proceeds from the event—the Guild’s only fundraiser of the year—enable us to continue to bring excellent speakers and classes to our members. So bring your Wish List and cash or check. (Sorry, no credit cards!)
Program
Beginning at 12:30 pm, check in and get an auction paddle. Auction lots will be on display in our meeting room and may be previewed after you have checked in. A brief business meeting will begin at 1 pm, and rules and guidelines for the auction will be described at this time. Then just sit back and watch (or participate in) the auction action! Afterward, there will be ample time to shop the tables full of yarn at deeply discounted prices.
NOTE: There will be no Show and Tell, Luxury Yarn Raffle, KAL, Beginners Circle, or Charity Knitting at this meeting. (Charity Knitting drop-offs will be accepted, however.)
Membership renewals and payments of dues will not be accepted on this day. (Dues may be paid online at any time!!)
Guests
Guests are welcome! A guest’s first visit is free. Subsequent visits are $10, which may be applied to annual dues if paid on the meeting day.
